Max's Salt Rising Bread is made locally in Fillmore, NY, and is noted for it's stinky smell. Instead of using yeast like in most breads, salt rising bread is made with corn meal. It has no preservatives, so it only has a limited shelf life!
Ingredients: Flour (malted barley flour, niacin, iron, potassium bromate, thiamin monoitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, powdered milk (soy flour, whey and calcium sulphate as stabilizer).
